2023 Rule Changes Confirmed

The following resolutions have passed for the 2023 season:

Item 1.2: Payout Structure - Pay out for top 3 (ie if buy in 20$, 3rd place wins 20$, 2nd place wins 40$ and 1st place wins 140$) (3rd- entry fee, 2nd entry fee x2, 1st entry fee x7)

Item 1.4: Punishment for last place - Punishment for the last place team based on regular season standings.

Item 2.1: Playoff structure - 7 team playoff (3 division winners, 4 wild cards. 1 seed gets bye, 2 seed selects first round opp from 4 wild cards)

Item 2.5: Draft Position - Draft order will be determined through lottery draft of non-playoff teams one hour before draft. For 2023 Draft, Lottery will include 4 expansion owners (Bill, Master Merc, Jeff, Jerry)

Item 3.4: Reduce bench size - Bench size will be 5 with 2 IR for the 2023 season.

Item 3.6: Block eliminated players from making roster moves - players who did not make the playoffs or who lost playoff games are not eligible to make roster moves, unless playing for 3rd place.

Item 3.7: Trade Deadline - Trade deadline moved to Week 10, Thursday at Noon EST.

Item 4.1: RB Scoring Rework - RB PPR Reduced to 0.5, RB's will receive scoring bonus based on total yards 75 (+1), 100 (+3), 150 (+5)

Item 4.2: Kicker Scoring Rework - Change to 0.1 point per yard of FG made (ie. 22 yard = 2.2 pts, 56 yard = 5.6 pts). Extra Points worth 1 point.

6		0	Bounce Back Year? The Freebooters struggled in 2022 after a strong 2021. Will we see this team return to competitve status with the new additions, or is it more of the same in 2023?
7		0	We're Still Waiting Lot's of talk from Nick about how well he should be doing, but this team is still looking for a playoff appearence in year 3.
8		0	Charoltte is Here. One of four expansion teams, Jerry and the city of Charoltte are ready to enter the fold after spectating last season. We have high hopes for the sprots broadcaster turned GM / Owner.
